D417.  Imperial German Miniature Bismark Honor Sword.  Great looking Imperial miniature Bismark Honor Sword made circa 1900  measuring about 12 inches overall. These miniatures were produced emulating the design of the honor sword which was made for Bismarck and presented by Kaiser Wilhelm in 1895. The sword displays Bismarck’s crown as a Fürst which was a rank of prince, given by the Emperor. The crown is of unique design and is recognizable by those who affiliated with Bismarck. Below the pommel area is also a Bismarck crest consisting of a shield with leaves contained within. The sword has a basket style hilt which is pierced and portrays a winged, helmeted angel placing an Imperial crown over a Prussian eagle. The grip of this example is also made of brass, as are all of the hilt pieces. The scabbard is a nickel type which has excellent nickel plating, still being at 100%. The nickel shell is fitted with beautiful brass upper, center and lower mounts. The blade of this example is nickel plated and etched on both sides measuring 9 inches overall with this piece being complete with the original portepee. The etching is basically a poem style which praises the abilities of the weapon makers of Solingen and at the same time tells what a beautiful land the area is. See pictures...$  350.00 (Pictures)

D509cj.  SS NCO's Degen by Krebs.  Good looking SS NCO's Degen by Krebs.  This beauty was originally sold by well-respected Third Reich edged-weapons dealer Paul Hogle of Lakesidetrader and I will let his original description do the talking:  "Here's a good example out of an old collection. The blade rates Exc+/Exc++ having just the mildest evidence of age. The blade has the 2nd version Krebs scorpion maker mark. The original buffer is intact. The black enamel painted scabbard is dent-free, with the mildest paint loss (mostly towards the tip). The plated fittings on this whole sword show even patina. The upper scabbard fitting shows some burnishing to the background and is SS proofed. It's secured by 2 dome-head screws. The grip has some paint wear and still looks good. The pommel nut has the correct cast runes in place. The ferrule is nicely detailed with some fine hand enhancing to the leaves and acorns. Finally, this came in with a SS NCO Portepee in NM condition. IMHO most of these are post-war but I see guys paying hundreds for them on auction sites and forums, regardless I'll toss it in for free. Exc+".  See pictures...$  2495.00 (Pictures) JUST IN
